Xiaomi Nepal is ready to launch the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G. The new phone will be the direct successor to the popular Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G and feature improvements in camera, performance, battery, etc. The device runs on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, features a 6000mAh battery, and a 200 MP main rear camera, among other top specs. It’s possible that some of the specs we gather here could be different as the global Redmi Note 14 Series launch will tell us more. But mostly, there will be similarities. Let’s find out more about the specifications, price, and launch details.
Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G Overview
Design and Display
The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G is sharp and rectangular with round edges. The big attraction is the squircle camera island on the rear which features a diamond-cut metallic ring that resembles the company’s logo. In essence, RN14 PP 5G is larger and weightier than the previous model. The device uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the front and Gorilla Glass 7i silicone polymer back for eco-leather for the back panel. The device is certified with IP69k and IP68 for water and dust protection.
The display is where we mostly see similar specifications as on the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. The new iteration’s got 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display that reaches up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. The resolution stands at the familiar 1220 x 2712 pixels and the refresh rate is another standard issue of 120 Hz for smoother screen scrolling. The screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Performance
The upper-midrange smartphone runs on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a 4nm fabrication from the US company. It runs on 1+3+4 architecture consisting of the prime core at 2.5 GHz, performance cores at 2.4 GHz, and efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz. The processor features an Adreno 710 GPU. Let’s not rule out Xiaomi using a different silicon on this model for the global variant. In terms of the software, the device originally ships with HyperOS based on Android 14 and will be eligible for up to 3 major Android OS updates.
It’s originally available with 128/256/512 GB of storage and 8/12/16 GB of RAM. The availability of the combined resources depends entirely on Xiaomi Nepal. Maybe we get 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB trims as with the RN13 PP 5G. There’s no SD card to extend the storage so, a beefy variant should be the preference among the buyers. It’s also the first phone from Xiaomi to feature a T1 signal-enhancing chip which improves GPS performance by 21% and cellular connectivity by 26%.
The phone has a suite of some popular artificial intelligence (AI) features such as AI subtitles, Live Interpreter, translation, and built-in Gemini. These help get real-time subtitles, or bridge the language barrier with an interpreter and language translation even during calls or meetings.

Camera
It’s largely expected that the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will come with the main 200 MP shooter, 8 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP macro sensors. The front will have a 20 MP selfie shooter. The rear camera configurations are different from what we saw on the variant that launched in India which comes with a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. So, we will have to wait to get the official details from Xiaomi Nepal.
Battery and Connectivity
The phone carries a 6200mAh silicon carbide battery with 90W fast-charging capacity which is a great improvement from the predecessor. But, its wireless data support is up to WiFi 6 but a higher version of Bluetooth (5.4) is now available. NFC and eSIM are also supported in this model. Unlike the previous lineup, the Redmi Note 14 Pro + will have a fully functioning eSIM service in Nepal.
