Xiaomi has confirmed that its much-anticipated Redmi Note 14 series will be launched between September 23 and September 29. The Chinese tech brand announced the phones on Weibo with a poster providing the first official looks at phones which sheds light on some noticeable design changes.
Xiaomi hasn’t explicitly mentioned but it’s likely to launch three devices under Redmi Note 14 series- Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G. Redmi Note phones are characteristically Xiaomi’s globe-trotting phones for a combination of rich features and affordability, an attribute the upcoming series will carry.

Redmi Note 14 series specifications
The two phones in the poster show that them with curvy edges but a more visible design path is in the camera placement. They are now housed on an island and while the one has its cameras going sort of subliminal under the glass, the other flaunts a pronounced module.
Likewise, Xiaomi is pitching the durability of phones. The phones are confirmed to come with IP68-rated protection that provides dust and water resistance. Last time around, only the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G had the advanced protection feature but this time, all the RN14 series handsets seem likely to feature it. This will be a big selling point for the series.
At the same time, the handsets could get a 50 MP camera with OIS support. As usual, cameras will be in the spotlight but more information shall come out later.

The Redmi Note 14 series is launching next week, sometime between September 23 to September 29 in China. The global launch is expected in November 2024. In Nepal, the series could debut a month later after the global launch which means around the new year 2025. Given the market competitiveness and Xiaomi’s traditional approach, these phones should cost around the same cost as the Redmi Note 13 counterparts.
The phones will be available in at least three colorways- Mirror Porcelain White, Phantom Blue, and Twilight Purple.
