The tablet showcases a typical rectangular flat design with a 7.1cm thickness and 465g weight. The back panel is made of metal as per the company. The button placement is on the right side while it misses out on a headphone jack. It houses a 10.5-inch LCD panel with a 2K resolution on the display. Performance
Under the hood, Redmi Pad packs in an Helio G99 chipset, manufactured on a 6nm chipset. This silicon has the configuration of Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55). On the GPU side, there is Mali-G57 MC2. Likewise, the chip is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The tab boots on Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 13 firmware built on top of Android 12 out of the box. This iteration is MIUI for Pad with interesting features for tablets. There are improved split screen modes and multi-windows for swift multitasking as per the company.

Talking about the optics, Redmi Pad boasts a single camera on the back. It is an 8MP resolution one with an f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot videos at 1080p 30fps max resolution. Similarly, you get a single 8MP selfie camera with a wide FOV of 105. It has an aperture of f/2.3 and can follow the movement of the user while video calls.
