The company claims to be the most advanced galaxy Watch they ever made to date. They promise that this smartwatch combines smartphone-level productivity with sophisticated health technology into one single device. Display, Design, And Fit
The Galaxy Watch 3 comes in two sizes; 41mm and 45mm. 1.2-inch AMOLED display with 360×360 pixels is put in 41mm size whereas 1.4-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution in 45mm size. besides these two variants, there is a special Titanium Black variant which falls under 45mm size. The display is Always-on type and is very sharp and bright. This display is protected by the Gorilla Glass DX.
The smartwatch is all stainless steel built expect the Titanium Black version is titanium built. It has IP68 certification and has been certified to 5ATM standards. It means the watch can survive 50 meters deep inside water for 10 mins straight without any problem. The watch also has Military-grade durability (MIL-STD 810G) which means it is tough enough to take a spill.
Rotating Bezel, Over 50,000 Watch faces, And The Strap
One of the main talking points is its rotating bezel which can be used for navigation. You can navigate through the system or apps with this subtle rotating bezel. This feels so satisfying and easy. Hardware, Software, Storage And Other Features
Samsung Exynos 9110 chipset, Dual-core 1.15GHz processor, and 1GB RAM are all packed inside the watch to deliver sheer top-notch performance. All of this hardware runs on Tizen OS 5.5. Tizen OS has a more limited library of third party-party apps than of Apple Watch App Store. The performance is smooth as butter and the software’s UI is really clean and simple.
The Galaxy Watch 3 offers 8GB of storage to keep offline music. You can also save tunes from Spotify if you have a premium subscription. The Apple Watch offers larger 16GB storage but for a smartwatch, that much storage doesn’t require actually. 8GB feels as if it is the storage made for smartwatches.

Battery And Connectivity
45mm size Galaxy Watch 3 packs 340mAh battery and 41mm size Galaxy watch 3 packs 247mAh battery. The company claims that both size watches can go up to 2 days straight on a single charge. For a smartwatch, that is pretty impressive. Even Apple Watch 5 only gives up to 18 hours of battery juice. Charging through a Magnetic charger is easy and simple. It sits above the charger easily and takes about 2 hours to fully charge.
Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC, GPS are all present in the device for connectivity. Through NFC you can use Samsung Pay. You can also use a hands-free Bixby Assistant in this watch. Other sensors like Accelerometer, Gyroscope, barometer, optical heart rate sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, and ECG are all included.
Samsung has only made the WiFi variant of the Watch 3 available in Nepal. So, the mobile network connectivity does not work for the Watch 3 here, due to the unavailability of eSIM here in Nepal.
The Galaxy Watch 3 is only compatible with the phone running on Android 5.0 or higher with RAM 1.5GB or above. As for iOS running devices, it will require iPhone 5 or above running on iOS 9.0 or above.
