Samsung has rolled out a June update for its Galaxy S23 series smartphones which improves its camera performance.
The South Korean phone maker has already pushed the security patch with the code “S91xBXXU2AWF1” in South East Asia. Earlier, users of the Galaxy S23 Series in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines received a major camera-improving update. The total file size according to the change-log shows a 2.2 GB.
Now, users of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Samsung S23 Ultra in Europe have started getting the security update that comes with camera enhancements.
Some users of the Galaxy S23 series have complained about the blur issue on their camera. This latest update could bring a fix to it.
Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones start getting June update for camera improvement
With the June security update, Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone owners mainly get security features however, they also receive many camera improvements. The new update brings a 2x zoom in the portrait mode option available in the camera app. Likewise, the latest update sorts out autofocus and HDR performance problems and adds Night mode processing.
That is not all. You also get improvements to the haptic feedback, UI animations, and overall system stability.

How to update the latest software patch on Samsung Galaxy smartphones?
Samsung rolls out a notification if there’s an update available. However, you can also get it manually. To get the latest update on your Samsung Galaxy, you need to do the following:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Software update
- You get the newly rolled-out security update if it’s available.
According to Samsung, more regions will start getting the June camera update in the coming weeks which includes Nepal as well. So, when you get it, we recommend you are on your WiFi connection for its over 2 GB size.
