Vianet launches WiFi 6 packages with upgrade offer

Nepal’s leading internet service provider (ISP), Vianet, has launched a WiFi 6-based internet package. The next-generation wireless technology brings high-speed fiber internet with reliable consistency and low latency. With these packages, users get high-quality internet service with uninterrupted connectivity.

The company said that the package is designed to address the needs of connecting multiple devices at once. It further added that the package will help with video streaming, online gaming, and office-related work.

Vianet WiFi 6 internet packages

Vianet’s WiFi 6 internet package price starts at Rs 13,800 for the 250 Mbps plan. It’s called Pro WiFi 6. The Ultra WiFi 6 plan of 400 Mbps comes at Rs 15,600, while the top-end offering, Ultra Max WiFi 6 of 600 Mbps, is set at Rs 22,500. These prices are for an annual subscription and are inclusive of 13% VAT. You also get a month of free internet service with a yearly subscription.

Vianet’s WiFi 6 plans also come with ViaTV packages. You can buy the ViaTV package at Rs 250 for a month, Rs 750 for three months, and Rs 3,000 for a year. The primary STB activation comes at Rs 2,500 for a month plan, Rs 2,000 for three months, and Rs 500 for a yearly package.

While buying Vianet’s WiFi 6 plans for the first time, you have to pay Rs 565 for a one-time activation charge and submit Rs 1,000 as a deposit for a WiFi 6 ONU device.

At the same time, Vianet is also providing a WiFi 6 mesh router at Rs 3,500. The router can penetrate through thick walls and other physical obstacles.

Likewise, existing users can also upgrade to a WiFi 6 router. For this, customers need to pay Rs 500 and replace their current router with the WiFi 6 one.

With Vianet’s own, many ISPs in Nepal are now equipped with WiFi 6 offerings. This further helps ensure faster and more reliable fiber internet broadband to customers.
