vivo has launched its upper midrange smartphone V50 Lite 5G in Nepal at a lavish ceremony in Kathmandu. It’s a new lineup in the “V” series and carries some exciting features and specifications. It boasts a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, a possible Dimensity 6300 processor, and a massive 6500 mAh battery. And interestingly enough, vivo Nepal has launched the phone in both 4G and 5G variants. Design and Display
vivo V50 Lite is built with a plastic back and frame and a glass front. It’s sleek and slender and weighs a comfortable 197 grams. It has rounded corners for a better grip. The gradient color theme makes the phone stylish, but the real show-stealer is its vertical camera module with a ring-LED flash below the two cameras.

The front is given a generous 32 MP selfie camera. The phone features an AI Image Studio, which includes capabilities such as AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance. Performance and Storage
vivo V50 Lite 4G runs on the Snapdragon 685 (4G) for the 4G model while the 5G variant of the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (5G) chipset. Both of them are good processors with 8 cores. So, you can only expect decent multitasking and gaming on this phone.
Likewise, the device boots on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 software. In terms of memory, vivo Nepal has launched the phone with 8 GB of RAM for the 4G variant while the 5G model comes with 12 GB of RAM. Both variants share the similar storage capacity of 256 GB. The 12 GB RAM on the 5G model can be extended to 24 GB with 12 GB of virtual RAM while the 4G model’s 8 GB RAM can also be increased to 16 GB virtually with another 8 GB of extra virtual RAM.
Battery and Charging
The vivo V50 Lite comes with a 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery. It’s already one of the largest battery packs on Android. Likewise, it comes with a 90W FlashCharge fast-charging technology. The battery charges 50% in 23 minutes and 100% in 52 minutes.
What is assured is that you get a day of usage even on high-octane performance. It’s certainly going to be massive with its strong battery specifications.
Connectivity and Other Features
The phone connects to 4G and 5G based on the model you choose. It also gets Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, GPS and other standard Android features. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack though.
