Digital remittance service provider eSewa has announced the lucky house winner for 2024. Part of the initiative, Mero Digital Desh, the winner has been Anjula Ghimire who has won a house in Kathmandu.
The house winner was announced on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 (Mangsir 12, 2081) via eSewa Money Transfer eSewa ’s official Facebook page, and Kantipur Television. The company used a digital lucky draw to get the winner.

eSewa House Winner 2024 Anjula Ghimire earns a 2-storey building in Lalitpur
Anjula Ghimire, who stood as eSewa house winner won a 2-storey house that’s situated in Mahalakshmi Municipality, Lalitpur Ward no. 03, Imadol that’s stretched across 3 ana of land. Ghimire had sent remittance using eSewa Money Transfer from Romnia to the eSewa digital wallet.
Esewa Money Transfer launched the ‘Mero Digital Desh’ campaign to promote the legitimacy of remittances coming from abroad and encourage digital remittances. To reinforce the campaign, the company announced that one of the participants who sent remittances from Asoj 01, 2080 to Kartik 30, 2081 would win a house in Kathmandu in a bumper prize.
At the event, Ajesh Koirala Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of eSewa Money Transfer, stressed the importance of digital remittances and their positive impact on the national economy.
