Infinix, a Chinese smartphone brand has launched the new Infinix Smart 6 smartphone in Nepal. The phone is an entry-level budget offering from the brand. Infinix Smart 6 Overview
Infinix Smart 6 is the successor to the Infinix Smart 5. The smartphone will look to dominate the budget market in Nepal.
Design/Display
Starting off with the design of the smartphone, it comes with a beautiful & attractive design. The smartphone is made of S-I Antibacterial Material that makes the device more tough & resistant to germs. It has a square-shaped camera module at the rear. The smartphone comes in different colors like Heart of Ocean, Polar Black, Light Sea Green, and Starry Purple.
Infinix Smart 6 comes with a large 6.6 inches IPS LCD display along with a 60Hz refresh rate and a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The smartphone also supports a 20:9 aspect ratio, 500 nits peak brightness, and 266 PPI density. For biometrics security, the smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock.
Performance
In terms of performance, Infinix Smart 6 is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A Processor. It is an octa-core chipset based on 28nm processing technology that clocks up to 1.6GHz. As for handling the graphics, it has an IMG8322 GPU. The chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and offers an internal storage of 32GB eMMC 5.1. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot which is expandable up to 512GB.
On the software front, the smartphone runs on XOS 7.6 on top of Android 11 (Go Edition).
Camera
Coming to the photography of the Infinix Smart 6, it flaunts a dual-camera setup. The smartphone consists of an 8 MP primary camera, and a 0.8 MP depth sensor. While on the front, the smartphone houses a 5 MP selfie camera that snaps beautiful pictures.
Coming to the videography aspect of the smartphone, the rear camera is capable of recording videos at 1080p@30fps, and the front camera records up to 720p@30fps.
Battery and Connectivity
Infinix Smart 6 boasts a huge 5,000 mAh capacity battery with a power marathon. Power Marathon offers 3 power-saving modes: “Power Boost”, “Ultra Power Mode” and “Video Power Engine”. Even if the battery is down to 5% of its full capacity, you can simply turn on Ultra Power Mode and you’ll get 15 additional hours of battery life. As per the brand’s claims, the smartphone has 678 hours of standby time and lasts up to 87 hours of music, 31 hours of calling, and 23 hours of videos.
Talking about the connectivity options, Infinix Smart 6 features Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by), Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go, FM Radio, OTG, loudspeaker, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc. It also comes with DTS Audio Processing with Beez 2.0 which gives a superior sound experience.
