Also, these high-end iPhone 14 pro phones bear premium features and a premium price tag. Powered by the latest A16 Bionic chipset, these new iterations are also leaping forward by adapting to a 48Mp main camera and more. Design
Both phones have come up with a refreshing design on the front side. The notch has gotten smaller than that of the iPhone 13 Pro Series and it’s named “Dynamic Island”. It is integrating both hardware and software on the same line. Therefore, the TrueDepth (Face ID) takes much lesser space now. Accordingly, both displays have a 120Hz refresh rate which the company calls, ProMotion technology. The panel is an LTPO one that can adapt the refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz depending upon the contents of the screen. Apple has also introduced Always On Display for the very first time. So, the company has claimed better battery life due to such features. Similarly, the display has a peak brightness level of whopping 2000 nits for sunlight readability on both phones. A16 Bionic Chipset
Under the hood, both phones are holding the horsepower of the A16 Bionic chipset. This homegrown silicon is based on 4nm architecture and has a Hexa core processor. Accompanying the chip is Apple’s 5-core GPU with 50 percent more memory bandwidth. The company claims the new chip to be 40% more powerful than the competition. There is a new 16-core Neural Engine that is capable of nearly 17 trillion operations per second. In addition, the chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe storage.
