As Nepal prepares for a 5G Network, more and more 5G smartphones are being launched, the latest being Oneplus Nord N10 5G. Earlier OnePlus Nord was also launched in the affordable category which also supports the 5G network. But now with the addition of Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 in the family, the word ‘Nord’ has become a series. Nord N10 5G follows the successful footsteps of its big brother Nord and enters the Nepali market. Let’s look into the OnePlus Nord N10 5G Price in Nepal and its specs.
It’s been a while since the company only launched flagship phones such as the OnePlus 8 Pro in Nepal. The company decided to introduce OnePlus Nord as affordable to its consumers. Seeing the success in this segment, the company has again launched Nord N10 that is more affordable in terms of Price and Specifications.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G Overview
90Hz Display and Design
OnePlus Nord flaunts a 6.49-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 1080x2400p resolution. 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects this display from getting scratched and dents. There’s a single punch-hole at the top left corner of the display. Scrolling through the news feed and apps feel smooth because of its 90Hz refreshed rate. This enhances the mobile experience right away.
The Nord N10 5G weighs 190g which makes it comfortable to hold in hand. Its body and frame are all built from plastic but this doesn’t hamper the solid build of the Nord N10 5G. Even though there’s no glass protection on the back, the rear panel seems to be pretty solid.
There’s no Alert slider in the Nord N10 5G, so you only get the Power button at the right edge and volume rockers at the left edge. The good news for music lovers, the company has included 3.5mm headphone jack in this model which you can find at the bottom edge alongside a USB Type-C connector and speaker grill.
On the top left side of the rear panel, you can find a rectangular shaped camera module that looks exactly the same as Galaxy M31’s camera module. A Fingerprint mount is placed at the bottom and just below it is the company logo. The device comes in only one color finish; Midnight Ice. The finishing is as good as it sounds. It feels as if the device is matte finished with a bit touch of shiny polishing.

64MP AI Quad Camera Setup
The OnePlus Nord N10 5G features an AI Rear Quad Camera setup. 64MP Main sensor, 8MP Ultra Wide sensor, 2MP Macro sensor, as well as 2MP Monochrome sensor are used in the setup. The company claims that this setup is numbed by its greatness. UltraShot HDR, Nightscape, Portrait, Pro Mode, as well as AI Scene Detection and RAW Image, etc all features are integrated to give you the best photography experience.
This setup is capable of shooting 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 30/60/120fps, as well as 720p videos at 240fps. CINE aspect ratio video recording, Time-Lapse, and Super Slow Motion video recording are all there. Well, this much is enough to make your video recording session good.
Coming to the front camera department, the 16MP sensor is housed inside the punch-hole. This sensor does all the job of snapping selfies. Face Retouching does its job at its best to produce magnificent selfies. You can shoot 1080p videos at 30/60fps. Moreover, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) enhances the performance of this camera setup.
Snapdragon 690 5G, Oxygen OS, 128GB Storage
Snapdragon 690 5G chipset promises to deliver the smoothest performance possible. The chipset is 8nm technology-based which means the performance is optimized. Octa-core CPU handles all the workload whilst Adreno 619 handles heavy graphics. 6GB RAM assists them to further add to the performance.
Oxygen OS based on Android 10 OS runs inside the device. Oxygen OS is lite than other OS resulting in more smoothness. Combining this with the hardware the performance leaps to the next level.
128GB in the N10 phone fulfills the storage needs. If not satisfied then you can expand it up to 512GB via the MixroSDXC card slot. With this, keeping large files and a ton of photos as well as videos shouldn’t be a problem at all.
Rich Dual Stereo Speakers are inside the device to give users an immersive sound experience. From gaming to watching movies and videos, these speakers enhance the experience.

4300mAh Battery And 5G Connectivity
The Nord N10 5G packs a 4300mAh battery for juice. The size of the battery sounds low but the 30T Warp Charge covers your back. If the battery drains quickly then you can fill it up even more quickly. You can get a day’s power in just half an hour of charge. Feels too good.
Let me tell you this if you didn’t know till now. The Nord N10 has support for 5G connectivity. It hasn’t been a long time since 5G only used to come in premium flagship phones. Nowadays, most of the phones come with 5G support, even the mid-range ones. There are a lot of 5G supporting spectrum bands in OnePlus Nord N10, namely band 1, 3, 7, 28, 41, 66, and 78. in both NSA and SA. But the mmwave 5G also seems to be missing in the phone as the predecessor.
You can experience a lot faster mobile experience in 5G than in 4G.
Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack are all there for connectivity. As for sensors, the Rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor, Accelerometer, Electronic Compass, Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, as well as SAR Sensor are all inside the device.

Our Verdict
The specification list and features in the Nord N10 5G are really impressive. 5G connectivity support was a smart move from the company though. The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack and MicroSDXC card slot will be one of its selling points.
However, the IPS LCD display with no in-display fingerprint sensor was not satisfying. If the company would have used OLED or AMOLED display without an in-display fingerprint sensor then it would have been much better. 4300mAh battery also sounds a bit low because nowadays even budget phones come with 5,000mAh battery such as Realme 7i and Galaxy A21s. Anyhow the 30T Warp Charge covers it.
All the flaws of the device are covered by its good aspects. But coming in such a price range, buying the OnePlus Nord N10 5G will be a good investment for some years. Tell us if you are going to buy OnePlus Nord N10 5G in Nepal?
