Samsung Galaxy A26 Overview
Design and Display
Samsung Galaxy A26 is simple and elegant in design. Its frames are plastic, while the back and front feature glass with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. In terms of size, it’s taller and wider but also thinner than the Galaxy A25, its predecessor, which means the phone measures 64 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm while the Galaxy A25 stood 161 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm.

The phone’s back panel features three cameras in a vertical setup. The edges are round, so that makes it easier to hold the phone even for a long duration. At the same time, the phone does look fine with bezels, but the chin is slightly more noticeable. Still, that fits nicely into the design of the phone.
Talking of the display, it’s got a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Likewise, the screen reaches 1,000 nits of peak brightness, which helps with viewing the content on the phone even on a bright sunny day. The phone is IP67-certified, so it’s decently protected from water splashes and dust.
Camera and Photography
The phone comes with three cameras on the back, and it’s arguably one of its best-selling features. The back camera department is led by a 50 MP wide-angle camera and supported by an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera.

And the best part? The main camera features the much-loved optical image stabilization (OIS) feature, which helps take stable images even during movements. Likewise, the front camera is a 13 MP shooter that takes detailed photos and videos. The back camera can record videos at up to 4K at 30 fps, while the front camera can record videos at 1030p resolution at 30 fps.
Performance and Storage
Galaxy A26 runs on Exynos 1380 processor, which is built on Samsung’s in-house 5nm FinFET process. Don’t be confused that the Latin American variants of this phone run Exynos 1280. Anyway, the chipset has 4 cores at 2.4 GHz and the other 4 cores at 2.0 GHz. In terms of memory, the handset comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which is decent for multitasking and running games.

In terms of software, the Galaxy A26 gets up to 6 years of OS upgrades. Originally, it boots on One UI 7, which is baked on Android 15. It’s also protected by Knox Vault, which is Samsung’s proprietary layer of security.
