After months of wait and anticipation, OnePlus has finally launched its latest flagship phone OnePlus 13 in China. As suggested, the phone comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 6000mAh battery, and many other remarkable specifications. As usual, the flagship phone is set to compete in the high-end market with the likes of Galaxy S24, iPhone 16 Series, etc. Here, we explore the specifications, features, and expected price of the OnePlus 13 in Nepal.
OnePlus 13 Specifications
Design and Display
The design of the phone has taken a slight change from the OnePlus 12. For e.g., the phone’s watch-like camera module is now detached from the frame, and a horizontal strip runs from the camera module all the way to both sides. Speaking of another change, the “H” alphabet which stands for Hasselblad now rests just over the ornamental strip. Also, the chassis now is flatter marking another slight design change. Likewise, the phone comes in three colors as rumored – white, black, and blue. The blue shade features a faux leather back while black and white color variants come with a matte glass finish.
But it’s a display where the emphasis is so well-pronounced even without bearing major changes from the predecessor. The premium phone boasts a 6.82-inch 2K+ screen. It’s an LTPO AMOLED display manufactured by BOE. Likewise, the screen is backed by a premium 120 Hz screen refresh rate and has 4500 nits of peak brightness which is the continuation of the predecessor OnePlus 12. Further, it’s IP68 and IP69-certified which means it’s got very good dust and water resistance and protective from high-pressure and high-temperature.
Performance
As expected, the premium phone is powered by Qualcomm’s greatest yet – Snapdragon 8 Elite. It’s a 3 nm chipset comprising two cores at 4.32 GHz and six others at 3.53 GHz. It’s paired with an Adreno 830 GPU. For sure, it’s the best processor in the market for Android and you get the best performance possible.
OnePlus has brought the phone with 12 GB, 16 GB, and 24 GB of RAM options with 256 GB starting storage, 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage with the USF 4.0 storage system. Similarly, the phone ships with OxygenOS 15 on top of Android 15 OS.
OnePlus 13 uses the second generation of the Tiangong cooling system Pro system which provides an elite level of thermal conductivity in the industry thus providing exceptional temperature management for the device. That means, multi-tasking or intense gaming can also run smoothly with getting heat effects.
Camera
As expected earlier, much of the camera specs are similar to the previous iteration with one key change. To illustrate, the OnePlus 13 sports a triple camera setup led by a 50 MP main wide camera with the Sony LYT-808 sensor and OIS support which is capable of 8K video recording at 30 fps. But the periscope telephoto size has been decreased to 50 MP from 64 MP but retains the same 3x optical zoom capacity while an improved 50 MP ultrawide camera completes the optics setup on the back.
On the front, the phone gets the same 32 MP camera which is capable of excellent photos and videos and can record videos at 4k resolution at 30 and 60 fps.

OnePlus 13 carries a Si/C battery of 6000mAh, a 600mAh improvement over the OnePlus 12. It also supports 100W wired, 50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging support. OnePlus claims that the 100W fast-charger can charge the device 0 to 50 percent in just 13 minutes and 0 to 100 percent in 36 minutes. How massive is that? Connectivity options include WiFi 7, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band GPS, Type-C port, etc.

Our Initial Verdict
OnePlus 13 is one of the most-awaited Android phones. The device’s major draw is in the freshness it provides away from the Samsung and iPhone users attributable to its unique custom skin (OxygenOS). But, it’s also marked for exceptional display, and design language. This time, the subtle changes on the back panel and larger battery could make it tempting for expectant buyers.
OnePlus 13 competes with high-end handsets such as Samsung Galaxy S24, iPhone 16, Xiaomi 15, etc. But it will also compete with the Galaxy S25, and other flagship phones coming in the coming months and in 2025.
