Redmi Note 15 5G has been launched in Nepal, a direct successor to the Redmi Note 14 5G. The new generation phone is part of the latest Redmi Note 15 Series and serves as an exciting budget phone with an array of delightful specifications. It houses a 6.77-inch screen, a 5,520mAh battery, and a capable camera system. Here, we take a closer look at the phone, specs, features, and its expected price in Nepal.

Redmi Note 15 5G Overview

Design and Display

The Redmi Note 15 5G shares a similar design path with its siblings, Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 15 4G. It’s got a squircle camera bar on the back of the top and has a REDMI text on the bottom. The phone ships in black, white, sky colors, and while black and blue variants come in a gradient matte finish, the white variant has a bit of a texture on the rear side. In terms of display, it features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3200 nits of peak brightness. The screen has got larger from its predecessor’s 6.67-inch one, and so has the brightness, from now the paltry looking 1200 nits. Likewise, it’s got a 1080 x 2392-pixel resolution screen and a protection layer of Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass. The handset is IP68 certified for protection from water and dust.

Camera

Redmi Note 15 5G camera

The phone carries a 108 MP main camera backed by an 8 MP ultrawide camera on the back and a 20 MP front camera for selfies. Both cameras record 4k videos at 30 fps. There’s no OIS, though, as found on its Pro variants.

Performance and Storage

The Redmi Note 15 5G is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, which features eight cores with the highest clock speed reaching 2.4 GHz. It’s paired with Adreno 710 for graphics. In terms of memory, it comes with 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of ROM. The phone boots on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.

Battery and Charging

The battery is larger now, with a 5520mAh cell, which provides the phone with its juice. It comes with a 45W wired charging feature. If you are a moderate user, you may even get two days of life out of a fully charged RN15 5G.

Connectivity and Other Features

The phone connects to 5G, WiFi 5, and has Bluetooth 5.1. It’s also got an infrared port and USB Type-C for file transfers and charging.  Other notable feature includes an under-display fingerprint sensor to keep unauthorized hands off the phone.

Redmi Note 15 5G price in Nepal is Rs 39,999 for the 8/256 GB variant and Rs 46,999 for the 12/512 GB variant. The phone ships in black, white, and blue color ways. And if you buy the phone between January 19 and February 14, you get Redmi Buds 6 Play at Rs 999, whose original market price is Rs 1,999.
