Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Buds 6 Lite and Buds 6 Play earbuds in Nepal. They both are part of the Redmi Buds 6 Series earbuds. They come in light weight with great audio capacity and noise cancellation among other key features. And the best part of these two are their price. Both earbuds come at super affordable price making which could even disrupt the market.

Design
The Redmi Buds 6 Lite and Buds 6 Play come with in-eat fit design. Each earbuds is also light which makes them super comfortably to fit into ears for hours. One key difference between the two models is that the Buds 6 Lite feature a regular-size stem while Buds 6 Lite doesn’t have it. Both come with physical button for an easier pairing too. In terms of total weight, Redmi Buds 6 Lite weighs 47 grams, slightly heavier than Buds 6 Play at 40 grams.
In terms of color, Redmi Buds 6 Lite come in white, black, and blue. The Redmi Buds 6 Play come in the same colors but blue color option is also available. The Lite version has IP54 rating and the Play model has IPx4 rating for protection against water and dust.

Audio
Redmi Buds 6 Lite come with 12.4 mm Dynamic Titanium Drivers delivering powerful audio output. Additionally, the earbuds also feature Hybrid 40dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The technology effectively minimizes background noise to provide you clear and comfortable sound.
On the other hand, Redmi Buds 6 Play include 10 mm Dynamic Drivers. Xiaomi says that the drivers provide a balanced audio with bass and treble. Likewise, it features a dual-mic with AI Noise Reduction for calls promising noise-free calling.
Battery
The Redmi Buds 6 Lite packs a 45mAh battery each and has a 480mAh battery inside. In total, the earbuds offer up to 38 hours of playback with charging case if played on AAC codes at 50% volume. Another highlight is that you get up to two hours of battery while charging it for 10 minutes.
Similarly, the Redmi Buds 6 Play carry 57mAh battery each and the charging case packs a 600mAh cell. These earbuds provide up to 36 hours of playback. In the meantime, you get up to three hours of music playback with a quick 10-minute charge.
Connectivity
The Buds 6 Lite feature Bluetooth 5.3 to connect to your smartphones, and other sound system such as soundbar. It has a fast-pairing feature but just like the Buds 6 Play, this feature works on Android handsets only. At the same time, you can use the Xiaomi Earbuds app to customize functions such as activating noise cancellation and switching between presets.
Buds 6 Play come with Bluetooth 5.4 to effectively connect with supported devices. Both Play and Lite earbuds get a one-tap Bluetooth pairing function that reduces pairing time. But this feature is available for Android ecosystem only.
