Nepal Telecom (NTC) has launched a 4G network in Khalikharka, Chingad Rural Municipality in Surkhet, and Thuli Bheri Municipality in Dolpa districts. The company started the advanced mobile service on the occasion of its 21st anniversary on Magh 22, 2081.

Nepal Telecom connects Khalikhara and Thuli Bheri with 4G
After the 4G launch of Nepal Telecom in Khalikharka, people in Rajena, Khalikharka, Tusare, Gagandhuri, and Pakhapani in Chingad Rural Municipality have become able to access 4G broadband services. It’s the first time the locals in these areas have got access to 4G and 2G services.
Likewise, 4G has connected various remote places in Majhfal Dolpa. This includes Durgaun, Thargaun, and Kadatali of Thuli Bheri Municipality ward no. 6. Majhfal, Lahara, and Hun of the same municipality also have access to Ntc 4G. Additionally, the coverage extends to Parila, Shey Phoksundo National Conservation Office premises, Kageni, and Raha in ward no. 11 have 4G mobile service.

In recent years, NT has given importance to improving 4G availability across Nepal. The company is also working on upgrading the network with new technologies to improve user experience. It launched Ntc VoLTE to offer users HD voice and data service at the same time during a call. Likewise, its Carrier Aggregation improves data service while on a 4G network.
As of now, Ntc has over 1.31 crore users on the 4G network and the network is available in 743 local levels in 77 districts.
